Our Board of Directors

Dr. Zulijana Anastasova Mikic and Mr. Marko Mikic
Founders, MindHeaven Trauma-Informed Neurodivergence Centre

As husband and wife, we founded MindHeaven with a deep personal and professional commitment to supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families. We are both neurodivergent and proud parents of three wonderful children, two of whom are also neurodivergent. Our journey, both as parents and individuals, has given us firsthand insight into the challenges and triumphs of navigating a world that often struggles to understand neurodiversity. We know the battles and joys, the need for accessible services, and the value of compassionate support – experiences that shape every aspect of MindHeaven.

Our mission is to provide a safe and empowering environment for neurodivergent individuals and to support parents who walk the same path as we do. We’ve been through the system ourselves, seeking services, advocating for our children, and sometimes facing obstacles, which only fueled our passion to make a difference. MindHeaven is more than a center; it is a vocation for us, a heartfelt mission that we pursue with dedication and empathy.

With Zulijana’s expertise as a consultant psychiatrist, trauma therapist, and specialist in neurodevelopmental conditions, and Marko’s lived experience and unwavering support, we bring a unique blend of professional and personal insight to our work. This is not just a job for us – it is a calling to create real, meaningful change.

Our vision is to empower and uplift neurodivergent individuals, helping them live fulfilling lives, and to provide parents with the tools and understanding they need on their journey. We are tirelessly developing accessible services for neurodivergent adults and children, advocating for awareness, acceptance, and compassion in our society.

If you share our vision and would like to support us in our work, please reach out to us at info@audhdmind.com or mindheavencork@gmail.com. Together, we can make Ireland a place where every neurodivergent individual and family feels seen, understood, and empowered.
