Adult ADHD Assessment

More than identifying symptoms — embracing your unique neurodivergence and transforming challenges into strengths through a professional, holistic diagnosis.

At AudHD Mind, an adult ADHD assessment is more than identifying symptoms — it's about embracing your unique neurodivergence and transforming challenges into strengths. A professional diagnosis unlocks access to personalised tools and strategies that support your well-being and help you thrive in all areas of life.

  • Enhance Your Potential: Develop tailored strategies to excel personally, academically, and professionally by understanding and celebrating your ADHD traits.
  • Strengthen Relationships: Gain insights and practical techniques to nurture deeper and more meaningful connections with family, friends, and colleagues.
  • Master Time Management: Discover individualised methods to organise your life, reduce stress, and manage commitments with confidence.

We offer both secure video consultations and face-to-face appointments. Our clinicians provide a thorough yet approachable process that ensures confidentiality and ease.

Step 1 — Book Your Appointment

Choose a time that works for you, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Step 2 — Complete Questionnaires

You'll receive questionnaires via email to complete before your appointment. As per best international guidelines, it's important to gather collateral information from someone who knew you in childhood. According to DSM-5 criteria, symptoms must have been present before age 12. School reports, if available, are also helpful.

Step 3 — Your Assessment

A comprehensive, evidence-based assessment conducted by our consultant psychiatrist, exploring your medical history, symptoms, and personal experiences. We may also utilise QB testing (an objective test of attention) to support differential diagnosis in some cases.

Step 4 — Ongoing Support

After your diagnosis, we provide neuroaffirmative advice and connect you with appropriate resources — including ADHD Ireland, occupational therapy, ADHD coaching, speech and language therapy, medication discussions if appropriate, and peer support groups.

What does the ADHD diagnostic process involve?

You'll complete questionnaires in advance and we may request school reports or additional cognitive testing. Throughout the process, a holistic, trauma-informed approach ensures the most accurate picture of how ADHD impacts your daily life.

What happens after my diagnosis?

We provide neuroaffirmative advice and guide you toward appropriate support. As a consultant psychiatrist, Dr. Anastasova-Mikic can discuss licensed medication options during your post-diagnostic appointment. We also facilitate referrals to OT, coaching, and peer support.

I have a medical condition — can I still take ADHD medication?

Having a medical condition does not automatically preclude ADHD medication. We take a personalised, holistic approach and carefully consider all aspects of your health. Any treatment decision is made jointly between you and your clinician.

Adult Autism Assessment

Deepening your understanding of yourself, embracing your neurodivergence, and finding strategies to navigate life authentically and fully.

Our approach is person-centred and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. We pride ourselves on fostering a safe and supportive environment where every person feels seen, heard, and valued — respecting your unique strengths and challenges.

The assessment is conducted by our consultant psychiatrist and is comprehensive, evidence-based, and holistic. You'll complete a detailed questionnaire before your appointment. The assessment explores your experiences across communication, sensory processing, social interaction, and mental health history.

Following assessment, we provide a detailed report and personalised recommendations for ongoing support, resources, and services tailored to your needs and life goals.
