Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances can change. To ensure fairness to all patients and our clinical team, please review our cancellation policy before your appointment.
Notice Required
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Late Cancellation
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a 50% fee.
Non-Attendance
Failure to attend without prior notice will result in a full 100% charge.
At AudHD Mind, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care to all of our patients. Due to the high demand for appointments, late cancellations and non-attendance have a significant impact on our ability to offer appointments to others who may be waiting. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation with this policy.
48 Hours' Notice Required
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled time. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient.
Late Cancellations — 50% Fee
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled appointment cost. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, unless exceptional circumstances are reviewed at the clinician's discretion.
Non-Attendance (No-Show) — 100% Fee
Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will result in a charge of 100% of the appointment fee. If you are unable to attend, please contact us as early as possible so we can offer your slot to another patient.
How to Cancel
Cancellations must be made by phone or email during working hours. Messages left outside of working hours will be considered received on the next working day. Please do not assume a cancellation has been registered until you receive confirmation from our team.
Appointment Reminders
While we may send appointment reminders as a courtesy, it remains the patient's responsibility to attend or cancel appointments in accordance with this policy. The absence of a reminder does not exempt patients from the cancellation policy.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to your appointment, your session may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid impacting other patients. Full fees may still apply in the event of a late arrival, at the clinician's discretion.
Prepaid Assessment Packages
For assessment packages — including ADHD, Autism, or combined assessments — missed or late-cancelled appointments will be deducted from the total package fee in line with this policy. This applies to all sessions within an assessment package.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected events can occur. In such cases, cancellation fees may be reviewed at the clinician's discretion. If you find yourself in an exceptional situation, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you with compassion and understanding.
